    Dear Friends,

    @Taverius is back at it, yet again. He has now bought half of Zach's stock an Aeolus and a Vérité, and he's willing to once more let us take an ear-peak at them.

    Here is the idea: truth is always best served cold, so we'll start with the Aeolus.

    Requirements for the Aeolus:
    - loaner to start in 3 weeks,
    - 10 friends tops,
    - 600€ insurance, with DHL/Fedex shipping only - no local post stuff.

    Requirements for the Vérité:
    - loaner to start when Aeolus loaner ends,
    - 5 friends tops,
    - 1400€ insurance, with DHL/Fedex shipping only - no local post stuff.

    Gentlemen, start typing on 'em keyboards!

    (and ofc, a huge thanks to @Taverius for his relentless generosity)

    AEOLUS candidates:
    @Walderstorn
    @Magnetostatic_Tubephile

    VERITE candidates:
    @BenjaminBore
    @Rthomas
    @Walderstorn

    Count me in for the Verite, my Utopia needs a seeing to.

    Thanks @Taverius, this is incredibly generous of you.

    Thanks to @zach915m for helping out, he's shipping them in separate boxes so we can just pass them around in the original protection and not have to worry about that.

    He's also including an XLR cable and adapter to 1/4" just for the loaner, and we made sure all applicable pads are present.

    Both are currently on "Final Test" phase so as long as FedEx is co-operative I should have more than enough time to break the Aeolus in before it goes out.

    I want to loan both if possible.
    Will have to check with DHL though since I don't know how they work here In Sweden.

    Will get back asap since I am away until Wednesday.

    How many days can we have each?

    Iirc it's a week.

    Also, @MrButchi we might have to delay it a week or two, canjam meant they haven't shipped yet.

    First post updated.
    @Taverius - you’re the one who decides when it starts ofc!
    @Walderstorn typical time is 5 days. Max 7-10 if @Taverius agrees. Let me know about DHL! Fedex and equivalent is fine ofc.

    I will let you know. Problem is really that i had 1 experience with DHL here in Sweden and it was worse than with regular, trackable mail. After the package left the country i got no more #number and the old one was only valid while here. Thank god the buyer got it but my testicles shrank meanwhile, since it was on ebay.

    I used a sender but everything was booked from their website. I will have to make sure that they have a better service since i don't, and won't, want to risk it.

    Zach just shipped the Aeolus, FedEx says it lands Wednesday.

    I'll set a date when it's actually in my hands though, so as not to tempt fate, but like 2 weeks from when it lands as I'm a little busy following some renovations here.

    So this damn city does not have a DHL outpost (it's kinda small) and that is giving me a problem. Alternative will be to the town over and ship it from there.

    I will have the info today if it's viable.

    Thanks

    Can someone give me the approximate dimensions of the package(s) and weight? They asked me this for the possibility of leaving it in something called "DHL service point" so it would be picked up by the courier.

    Iirc Auteur's box was like, 30x30x20 cm. Weight, less than 3kg.

    So according to DHL there won't be any problem with sending the package in a proper way.

    I never was in a Loan so i would be thankful for info about money and such.

    As an additional data point, I am also much more concerned about being even able to utilize DHL/Fedex in my country and not that much about being able to send securely (since EMS or any other priority service provided by my local post was always flawless worldwide).

    I could almost buy Aeolus new should I go with DHL. Fedex prices are no less ridiculous but found some low cost variant that hopefully wont take more than 350USD from me.

    (Yes, for some purely irrational reason I am actually considering to pay like 10x more than usual only to hear Aeolus for few days.)

    @Walderstorn you insure up the stated amount in the loaner. If it gets lost, SBAF loaner funds cover the rest.

    Nips is on the break in station (an old bit-rotted lappie with a fulla 2, nothing fancy). I won't run it all day cause I work in that room too and it's noisy, so Monday 19 looks good to me @MrButchi
