    Any thoughts on the pelican case we’ve been shipping Solaris #2? I’m afraid (maybe irrationally) of the hinges opening on this particular case during shipping. It is more expensive to ship, including a “not a cardboard box” fee in my experience.

    There are zip ties in the box to hold the case closed in case the hinges come off. Hinges seem sturdy either way. The Solaris is definitely traveling in style.

    Opening it is a pain xD. Otherwise since I'm the last person who had it it seemed to still be in "tank like" condition. No parts were wearing out or anything. And yes I used the included zip ties when shipping it out to help secure it.

    My Fedex delivery guy when it arrived I kid you not said "Here's your briefcase full of money".

    So yeah they are in travelling in style haha.
