I have an Af coming and I’m starting to look for a matched pair of NOS or lightly used 2a3 black wavy plate spring tubes.

Any brand like RCA, Sylvania, GE is welcome.

    Thanks for looking.

I know this isn’t what you asked for, but I have a lightly used pair of EML solid plates that is just sitting in their box. If interested, PM me.

FWIW Craig told me he likes the EML solid better than the mesh, which is what I have and really enjoy with the AF.

I agree! At least for 2A3s. The mesh plate EMLs come off as trying a little too hard to be high fidelity. I read someone else's description of them likening them to 'Technicolor' and I found similar in my setup. The solid plates are... a little more solid sounding.

Sylvania 2A3, coil spring filament, black wavy plates. Were sold to me as a matching pair, I don't have a tester.

Would let these go, please PM me if you're interested.

I’m going to try out @Boops EML solid plates first and then pursue NOS if needed.

Thanks for the information and advice.

Please close @shotgunshane thanks again for your services here
