    can you please advise what benefits might occur if upon payment, each user considers paying a bit OVER the $10?

    ie. if some of us choose to pay $15 or $20, can it be used to help offset Ravi's expenses even faster?
    or help reward Ravi's laser gang?
    or to jump start the 3D resonator mod funding?

Just way too busy and feel stretched in too many directions. Lego time with kids and Clash of Clan time with mates must not be sacrificed.

    This is worth trying...enjoying my SBAF mod now (plus some Billmods that he left in after pulling out so much stuff that my HD800 looked like a burst pinata).

    THANK YOU Ravi for making this a REALITY and getting them into people's HD800!

    Not taking more money :). This is not a for profit enterprise. I will be out a few hundred just on the materials I bought to compare for the test when this is all said and done even with the $3-4 per shipment I'll be making on the first 50. Marv and I have dumped a crap ton of time and $ into this but it's an investment in you guys and the hobby.

    Outside of $$$ investment, I'm going to be spending a crapload of my time shipping these out. I want to make sure we have a publishable full set of mod instructions as well before I start taking anyone's money so folks who want to make batches themselves or even just a pair can do it.

    If someone can find a way to cut the largest sheet on a big automated process without the laser, they can buy the $600 sheet and cut like 860 of them at once. Highly doubtful, but if this is possible, that person could put them up for $30/each on an amazon store and make a killing :).

    Any chance you guys have a small number of these set aside for friend members/forum funders who didn't promptly notice the sign up thread?

    If so, I would certainly be happy to send a prepaid envelope to minimize any shipping inconvenience, along with payment for the materials. I have been looking forward to an official mod for years, since signing up on the changstar thread, and it is a bitter pill to feel like I may have missed the only boat after all this time.

    In any event, if any of you happen to have a spare set and are able help a long time hd800 listener out, I would be most grateful.
