What would you like me to address? When I say live sound, I'm not talking about concerts. I want a guitar to sound like a guitar, a bass to sound like a bass, and drums to sound like drums. Your whole post went on some tangent about live recordings which by the way suck even more and diverged into the equivalent of jerking it while staring at yourself in the mirror. What is there to find that is so pertinent that it needs arguing? You state the obvious here and there as if preaching the gospel talking down to the lowly masses who couldn't possibly understand the genius artistry behind you turning a knob on an equalizer. And you expect anything but response in kind?

I Appreciate your viewpoint. I probably wouldn't choose ATC's if I had to do it again. My partner who just got a grammy for his work with Fantastic Negrito this year mixed the record with Meyer HD-1's and I have to admit, while on the opposite spectral end of ATC, translated well, and are Super Damn Fun To Listen To (SDFTLT).

That’s not live sound bro that’s just realistic sound and by the way - guitars can sound like all sorts of things and so can basses - but im sure you know this so im not sure what your saying here.

I didnt just talk about live recordings but due to the vague nature of your use of ‘live’ I covered both live and studio ‘live’ sound to cover those bases.

Also im not trying to speak highly of myself but rather to make a few points that are clearly lost on you. If you think I was getting on a high horse you are mistaken. Since this dialog doesnt seem to be appreciated or taking with the maturity I supposed it would be, we can end our internet based cock fight here little one.

I want to hear a pair of those with an intact tweeter some day. The pair I heard was pretty messed up in the treble just like all the old KRKs with the Focal kevlar inverted dome tweeter you can find for cheap on fleabay

Didn't see a reason for execution. Was actually interested in what he had to say... ah well.

I just set up a sealed 15” HSU Research ULS-15 mk2 in my room. While experimenting trying to integrate it with my Bhavas, I stuffed the speaker ports with foam and realized I should have done that a few years ago to compensate for boundary gain from having them right up against the front wall. Frequency sweeps are much calmer in the 40-60hz region, whether the sub is on or off.

I’ll continue to tweak for better sub integration, but bass textures are already so nice to hear/feel.

Was this a DIY skyline diffuser? Nice work if so. My autumn project is to build a couple for myself.

My shit. Amp getting swapped out in a week or two with a 200w Class A space heater/arc welder. CD player has been replaced with a Sonic Frontiers transport since I took these.

Room is small so placement is really picky. I've got them as far out in the room as I can manage and as varied from front/side/floor reflections as I can. It images pretty well, subs are pretty well dialed in. I'm happy with it. I used to have the room facing a different way, glad I finally tried a different setup.

200w full Class A? There goes heating for the whole house. And the stovetop. You can probably warm up a cast iron pan on there and cook most things. Also neat dual sub setup. What speakers are those if I may ask?

It's a Bedini 200W amp and I think they are full Class A (edit - no way it runs full 200W class A. "Bedini utilizes a unique biasing technique to maintain Class "A" operation even with the most difficult loudspeaker loads." is what is found on the product page for a similar amp from them). Regardless, it's going to be interesting.

Speakers are Dyn Focus 260s, subs are SVS sealed 12s. I will say I would have saved myself a ton of money and frustration had I laid this all out this way years ago.
