made my last GCU order with the 25% off coupon as my sub is expiring today. Picked up Doom Eternal and Cyberpunk 2077 preorders for $91 after tax plus the two $10 rewards (one for each). Can't complain about preorders with that kind of pricing!

Just bought Shadow tactics: blades of the shogun and it's f'ing awesome! If you played commando's back in the day you will probably love this. It's the same style of gameplay except with samurai and ninjas.
Also only 10 bucks on steam atm.

I got it for free a while back on twitch prime, I'll have to give it a shot.

I've been playing divinity original sin 2 and it is really awesome. The QOL changes from the first game are really nice, and the combat is spectacular as usual. I've been using a controller and I think that might be the superior way to play.

I finished Fallen Order this week and thought it was a blast. It's Sekiro/Bloodborne light, but with light sabers.

Played on the third difficulty level (Jedi Master) and found it to be fun and not super difficult. But, it was just difficult enough that the threat of dying was a realistic possibility.

    Good times.

I still play CSS sometimes. Ever played a surf RPG server? If not you've never dipped your toes into real competition.

Really getting into Total War: Warhammer II. Was able to move up in difficulty from normal and thinking of buying the expansions (new races/heroes).

It’s been sucking a good amount of time from my evenings.

I loved Total War: Warhammer's much older and smaller version to bits. It was called Dark Omen and was one of the best of its kind I ever played.

Parents: I’m looking to buy some controllers for the switch that are comfortable for 4 year olds. Mine had lots of trouble with the joycons. Pro controller was better. I’m wondering:

+ What are good options for small hands?

+ If it must be the pro controller, are any of the cheaper 3rd party controllers worth getting?

Fwiw my 3 year old likes the charging grip. The pro controller is too big for him.

These uber cute japanese controllers should do.
    https://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/B083Q9R8TZ/
    https://www.siliconera.com/cyber-gadget-goes-pastel-with-its-new-mini-switch-controllers/

    Or these 8BitDo controllers.
    https://www.8bitdo.com/sn30-pro-g-classic-or-sn30-pro-sn/
    https://www.8bitdo.com/sn30-pro-plus/

The former is explicitely designed for Nintendo Switch and PC.
The latter are general purpose controllers that are Switch compatible.
I haven't tried either so can't comment on the pros and cons.

My Witcher 3 playthrough with both expansions from before corona was about 170hrs. I did almost all of the quests that came up though and spent a bit of time just wandering around looking for stuff/quests, messing with gear, etc.

Was really good while playing, but when I tried to new game plus after finishing, it had about 0 appeal.
