They are mint, with a mate finished to avoid the normal lacquer tearing.

Didn't want to 'like' this -- very sorry you are forced to sell these beautiful cans. They look just like mine (very dark wood w/ brass grills).

Watching your country's 'progress' in infection rates and deaths we see terrible numbers, but perhaps miss the human cost.

Someone asked me about the Alo reference 16 in the pictures, I could sell it together. But I must warn that the cable it’s huge. 5-6 meters 15-20 feet.

@drgumbybrain I'm really sorry that you are put in a position of needing to sell these beautiful HPs. I find them very tempting as Auteurs might well be my next HP purchase. But I'm not ready yet. I have some Verite closed on order. If I like the ZMF sound and ergos, the Auteurs and VCs would likely be a great complements to each other.

For others who might be on the fence about getting these, I ordered my Verite closed 3 months ago and it is still in production. Given their progress on the build sheet, I wouldn't be surprised if it will be another month before mine are completed. This experience hints at an especially long lead time for a newly purchased ZMF HPs. Just saying...

 

I can’t believe these haven’t sold yet.The ZMF Blackwoods have one of the most beautiful tones I’ve heard in any headphone. I purchased mine with minor scratches for $1250 and without a case. These look pristine, have a case, and are set at a killer price.

My sentiments echo @MichaeLeroy . I'm sorry you have to sell them, and I really wish I was positioned to buy them. The Auteur is just such a great sounding headphone. This is an excellent price.

 

People thought I was dead, but I’m back. Seriously, I work in a hospital and they thought I had the covid. But test was negative and they let me go. LOL true story
