Ah!! The show looks so fun! So sad I'm not there for it.. both the people and gear look awesome!

I hope folks have fun with the three JAR800s on deck. The setup there is leaps better than what I have at home, I'm sad to not be able to try it out myself.

I'll be posting some public information on them soon after the meet. See you soon and have fun!

New chapter on Jason's blog. That is indeed a new variation of Lyr, called Lyr+. I love the new metal work around the tube. Really differentiates the + model with minimal change to the chassis. Includes a 64-step relay (remote!) Volume control. Can choose between tube or no-tube mode. Crazy!

He also announced a new Bifrost 2 upgrade card. It's a great time to be in audio!

Obviously much more detail available in his blog and on the website.

I'll post a bit about Piety. I've had it for six, maybe seven years now :)

Mr. Speakers Stealth <- Rag 2 was pretty darn good. I asked Dan Clark for a review unit. It is worthy.

Bifrost 64 is a true upgrade using 8812 parts from Yggdrasil LIM. No, the clouds don't part. However true incremental upgrade with the Bifrost tone. (It's the power supply, they all have a sound).

The interesting part about Bifrost 64? Press and hold button and watch the LED slowly cycle between bright and dim. I wonder what this does?

it's an apt comparison because they're both SS amps with tube like characteristics and they're both very well tuned, but honestly having had both in home and from memory (my auditory memory is pretty good) if they were the same price I would take the Magni Piety.

I'm getting one for my ortho iems. I think it will likely out resolve the Vali 2+ and have similar tone and maybe give them more power.

I'm really curious how this pans out for people. Schiit prides themselves on their digital filter, but lots of people love their NOS...... I propose a battle to the death for opposing camps.

Bifrost 1 MB and Modi MB could both do NOS if you upsampled past their filtering limits. I tried it a few times and never liked them as much as the Schiit filter.

I suppose that was the "good things come to those who wait" DAC you mentioned several months ago!

Upsample really high to activate NOS? That's an interesting strategy that hurts my brain a little. It might bypass the Schiit filter, leaving you listening to the effects of your other upsampling algorithm.

Unfortunately the Stellaris was not working (possibly damaged during shipping?), I had to leave early and was bummed I couldn't listen to it... I'll be posting some reviews and a bunch of pics later tonight, but the short of it was, amazing meet, amazing finally meeting folks I've only interacted with online (esp. Marv/Jason Stoddard)... Folkvanger is legit my fav Schiit amp, Atrium is amazing, I might actually be a planar guy after hearing @rhythmdevils modded LCD-4 on the 3F, ETA's new stuff is legit... @CEE TEE is a rising star....

This is the double-magnet edition of the ETA Mini. Very similar sound to regular Mini except the bass is flat instead of slightly emphasized. The technicalities are little bit better compared to the regular Mini. This can be heard even with modest amplification seen here. Very modest amplification. After hearing so much about them and finally experiencing them first hand, I would have to say that these are the real deal! Possibly the first closed headphone that doesn't sound colored or wonky in some way? The isolation is great. May get one of these for myself and daughter for drumming. In fact, may get my entire family one of them because those Sony noise cancelling deals we got imploded (typical Sony, never meant to last, guaranteed to break under heavy use right after warranty expiration). Something like this and Bluetooth stick would be all that is needed.

The highlight here is @CEE TEE 's hair! Not only does it look like your favorite DBZ character, he went as far as matching the color scheme of his new Magni Piety amp!

Totally want BF2567893 or whatever. I think the TI chips sound better than the AD chips. NOS option is also interesting.

I’ll be first on the list for the Piety. I can’t believe this is 6 or 7 years in the making and this far hidden. How many other ideas are out there and didn’t make it?
