A record I had been looking for over 4 years at least. Found it, had to pay a pretty penny for it, but I FOUND IT!

One of my all-time favorite albums. Pure genius.

Return to 36 Chambers! Still have it on cassette somewhere and IMO the most fun... Been trying to find some of the early mixtapes they had out, before Enter was released, but no luck so far. Interestingly, my first copy of Enter on CD, was the BMG (remember those 12 for 1 things? lol ) version. RZA went back and released the whole album completely re-edited, with all the slang replaced by martial arts sounds/effects. Scope it if you can...I actually like it better :)

I'm not listening to this (yet) but I suddenly know exactly what I want for Christmas....

The Berlin Philharmonic did a D2D recording of the Brahms Symphonies 2 years ago and it's finally seeing the light of day:
    https://www.berliner-philharmoniker-recordings.com/rattle-brahms-vinyl.html

Works out to about $150 CDN/symphony (ouch!) but IMO it's probably worth it to have the Berlin Phil play the material they consider their bread and butter live and uncut with no post processing.

I was pretty happy to see this on the door step this week. Really makes my modest vinyl and speaker rig sound good.

Just got the Fluance RT81 for my birthday. Might not be the best in the world but compared to my last table, this one beats it just by having a counterweight and anti-skate. Listening to Larceny & Old Lace by The Coathangers.

Went to The Analog Room in San Jose and came away with a pretty solid haul! Listening to "The Alternate Blues" now and it's fantastic.

Oh man Dr - Mingus Ah Um is among my very favorite jazz records, you will enjoy. Also enjoy peeping your Wes Montgomery, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon collections. Are those Blue Note reissues or just holy grail perfect condition albums? Good bounty

Mingus Ah Um I'm super excited about, I loved "Black Saint and the Sinner Lady" and I'm excited about this one. These are all a variety of reissues of some sort, some Music Matters, some Analog Productions and some just kinda quirky ones. All of Bryan's "used" records at the Analog Room are in near mint condition, so every album is any easy buy if you like the version.

Not vinyl, but it might go in this section?
Aretha Franklin Live at Filmore West with Ray Charles
Got it along with a bunch of other things on the tapes that came with my Teac A-2300s

Oh my god, Sun Kil Moon is the shit. My next record is probably going to be Ghosts On The Great Highway, or any of the Red House Painters albums.
Also, I feel I have to mention how unique your turntable is. Might I ask what's going on? Did you build that? Lovely taste overall my dude.

Some of my recent scores. Can't wait to listen to the Blue album and the Dream Theater.
