For the pourover fanatics, the C70 is nothing like the P70...

Yeah I have a stainless 185 Wave. Wave is probably the easiest to learn on (excluding Chemex with stock filters). It's the most forgiving and the lines are helpful as level references when you're first learning.

I agree that the wave is a great place to start. It’s the pour over method I would use if I opened a shop... it’s more forgiving.

Thanks! I'm surprised the SS is preferred over the ceramic. Seems the heat retention of ceramic (or glass) would be a benefit.

Recently got a Dante device (RDL SF-ND2) and I'm surprised how well it closes the gap to CDP as well as the setup wasn't too painful

Yeah I'm interested how they compare especially if you go extreme and feed the UNDAES-O with a linear PSU.

The SF-ND2 offers POE only. Are you using POE via a switch or do you have some type of high voltage injector?

Any London friends have recommendations on what audio shops I can visit while I'm there?

The staff were friendly too. They would have been friendlier if they hadn't /really/ wanted to watch their national football team play in the world cup, lol... I respected that and left them to it.

Oh, I might add that I am an ex Londoner, although I was there for a few weeks this year. No specific advice on this idea therefore... but you might be interested in seeking out one or two places that sell pro audio stuff.

Thanks y'all, Audio Sanctuary is a great store and I got to try a lot of nice cans (and the Chord Dave).

Let a friend borrow my modded 6xx a week ago, starting to regret the decision...

Yah I think the no feedback synergizes well with the 800S since it has enough stage already and gives the bass a bit more oomph or flavor. Using it with the modded 6xx is amusing but feels like using a Ferrari for a grocery run.

After getting an HD800S, I can see why these Reflektor 6N23p tubes are so sought after...
