You probably guessed already (audiotupa.fi). Few hours for 3 different speakers isn't enough time to listen super analytically, but 1032C for the price was very nice, zero fatigue, no sub needed for most people, nice punchy subbass. Though it was surprisingly easy to redline with some proper 40hz techno untz, was somewhere around 104dBC, not a party speaker but good for casual listening. :-D
S360 had more airy and relaxed sound, more forgiving and sweeter. It's really a compression driver huh? Clearly different personality. Not so much rumble as 1032C, steeper highpass, few hz less. Dat headroom though! Had 40hz untz up to 114dBC or so, didn't even get red before my ears gave up. Slam!
Shouldn't have listened 1234A last because that's what I mainly remember. Huge, room filling, wide, dynamic sound. It would be absolute pleasure just sitting all day listening stuff in that room. f**k cables and dacs.
We did redline the big monsters but it was around 120dBC. :-D Bye ears. But if you want to hear live performances as is.. and it still didn't sound harsh.
Surprisingly, these 200€ NightOwl carbons I got some days ago sound quite similar to what I heard today, which is nice. Also my main rig sounds kind of distant muddy mess now. Perhaps time for some changes..
@Poleepkwa Like them more than the older hawks I had, very acceptable balance (for my tastes!) even without EQ. I'll take these anyday over HD6x0 for 200€. :-D Still one of the more comfy headphones, but perhaps a bit too large for office use and the thick cable is still little annoying but less than NH one..
I saw Marek was selling those for 200€, so good deal on that! I will see if I can pick up an pair maybe for that price. THe Elegia seems bit to expensive.
