QUICK HURRY HOW DOES IT SOUND? IS IT BETTER THAN YGGDRASIL? If it's not, i'm sure it will be once it burns in! ;)

But seriously... i am glad it's there finally.

Now that i have jumped the AGD dac ship and have Gungnir Multibit i'm no longer considering this, but like others, curious how it's going to turn out. Looking forward to your impressions after giving it a fair trial.

I am considering holding my tongue until others have heard it. Would be curious to read opinions without external influences.

Well, my standard for "does this impress me or not?" in the R2R space is the $250 Modi Multibit. Whether that is a high bar to cross or a rather low one depends on your perspective, I suppose.

For example, I can tell you that objectively the PS Audio PWD mkii that I currently have in my possession is superior in quite a few areas to the Modi Multibit but for a DAC that cost almost $4k new it darn well out to be superior to the Modi Multibit. However, in the areas the matter the most to me, the $250 Modi Multibit is close enough to the PWD that it makes you wonder what kind of secret sauce Schiit is sprinkling on them before they send them out the door.

So I wonder, does the Audio GD Singularity 19 gen Y black label Space X edition (or whatever they are calling it) pass the Modi Multibit test? (Greater than, less than or equal to Modi Multibit considering the cost!)

Yeah, reading the product page on this one makes my head hurt. Here's the last sentence on the product page: "The complex process in the building , just for keep every units had the highest quality" . Hmm, ok. Good to know (I think. Maybe?)

I suppose if people want to send me their impressions on the side, and then post them all at one...sure? I was just thinking of holding my tongue, and mine only, until after the tour was over.

It's fully broken in now right? Send it to me. I'll give an opinion five seconds after I hear it.

Oh, there just isn't enough popcorn for this one- either way. @Hands - you're a monster, keeping people in suspense like that... I suppose that given the usual audience for AGD stuff, we have to treat the results with a little care, as:

"Many randos died to bring you this information..."

Still, send it to @Marvey and let the cat out of the bag... there are nerds turning blue here.

I'll just invalidate it by insisting your interconnects, headphone cables and power cords aren't properly broken in....

Or you moved them after burning in, so you have to start again.. isn't that one of the HF favourites?

No, I am only 18.57142857142857% through the ideal burn-in timeline.

I should be able to ship it out to whomever later on this week. Got it Friday evening. Been a busy couple days. I also want to try a few experiments with the various DLL jumper settings. They do make a difference.

Yeah. Just experiment with the jumpers and tell me what works or if I shouldn't bother. Life is too short.

I have fond memories of messing with jumpers getting my P200 to go to 250.
That being said couldn't they think up something to adjust these on the fly through usb or something?

You might already know this, but if you're using a DDC you want to pull the jumper off the PLL pins, making PLL inactive.
If you're using internal USB leave it active (jumper on).

This is reverse from all their other dacs, where jumper on is inactive, and jumper off is active, so I thought I'd throw this info out there just in case.

Jumper on should always be active, jumper makes an electrical connection. Curious to know, which other DACs have the option of enabling/disabling PLL with jumpers?

I meant non-AGD. I had the M11 before and jumper ON meant PLL active as far as I remember.
