    Amethyst has arrived at my pigsty, thanks @bengo. Sod's law I have a stinking cold so no critical listening for a couple of days at least. The unit's a bit chilly so I'll leave it at room temp for a while before plugging it in.

    I am scheduled for the Amethyst loaner after Hrodulf, who is next after pedalhead. Is it possible for me to get the Amethyst not before half of January? I will hardly have any spare time before that. On top of that I sold my Eikon to finance the ZMF Auteur which is scheduled to arrive mid January (I was one of the first to preorder)... It would be nice to see how the Auteur is doing with the Amethyst, compared to Soekris dac1541 and others.
    If it´s fine for the community maybe pedalhead and Hrodulf can hold on to the loaner just a little longer than usual... or I could swap places with jayeshrc but Hrodulf would have to pay some extra shipping cost shipping it to Holland instead of to me (we are both in Germany).

    I think it's @Hrodulf after me. I'm OK to either post on schedule next week, or hold onto it a while. However, I'm away over Christmas 22nd to 31st, so no postage over that period.

    Also, who's the owner of this Amethyst? Do we even want it being added to the Christmas mess of parcel deliveries?

    @pedalhead: Let´s see what our European Gear Master and Hrodulf feel is the best way to handle my request and the Xmas parcel overload.

    If @Hrodulf is ok, we could sway Germany towards the end of the loaner and have Netherlands go first?

    @MrButchi please take me off the loaner list for the Metrum, I'd still love to listen but I won't reasonably be able to relax and listen for the coming weeks, mayhaps the last week of the year so that would stall the loaner too much I'm afraid.

    Thanks for the opportunity however.

    The Amethyst is on its way to @jayeshrc. Thanks for the loaner. I'll post some impressions soon.

    Who should I ship the package to next? I've not really got a chance to listen to it unfortunately because of the holidays and family visiting and what not so im just going to send it to the next person on the list I guess

    @MrButchi and @jayeshrc :
    first @SKiring who is also in Holland; next would be @Hrodulf. Hrodulf would than forward the Amethyst to me around half of January. Not sure @SKiring is aware of the change in order we made, though.

    Still traveling extensively for work so I’m going to have to skip this one for now.

    Thanks @MrButchi for your work with the loaner program!

    Hey guys, I'm curious how much postage of the loaner item costs between countries? I got a quote of €40.04 via UPS for the Metrum to @Hrodulf in Latvia and that seemed rather expensive (but of course I'd go ahead with it if that's normal)

    I think I paid about that from Ireland to England. Can't remember exactly, though.
