I don't have any LDAC headphones but AptX sounds good. BT range is really bad but that probably won't be an issue for most with its barely-there size and weight.

Is it enough to go from left front pocket to right front pocket? :D

    The order is important.

Jokes aside that's my BT use, Spotify or Internet radio from my phone to the m0, blasting LDAC across my private parts as recommended by the surgeon general.

Did anyone have a chance to try it with Andromedas? How does this combo compare to Andromedas and iPhone?

Zout is low for what's considered "optimal" for Andros here. 0.16ohm Vs the ideal ~2.

I mean they tested the hiss with Andros so if you like how they sound out of low-z outputs it should be fine?

Yeah, I've noticed the zout value, but I was hoping that maybe someone did check it out and could post some impressions ;)

Some of you might be wondering my thoughts on this player now. I didn't want to be too quick to report since there are literally no other reports about it yet that I've seen but I'll share a few thoughts. Don't expect awesome technical breakdowns because that's not me. I'll start by saying I do like it and I'm going to keep it but there was a bit of a getting-used to period.

My main rig is Hifiberry->Modi Multibit->Vali 2->HD650. It's a laid back sound that suits my preferences. My on-the-bus etc.. IEM setup has been my flac collection through Shanling M1 or Oppo A57 phone streaming Tidal both to Noble X. On planes and trips I usually bring along Oppo PM3 and plug them into the aforementioned or put an Oppo HA-2 between them (which is a bit more mid-forward and sabre-y than my typical setup). It sounds like I'm an Oppo fanboy probably but I just happened to end up with the HA-2 in a trade and the phone just happened to be one of the lower-cost ones when I needed a phone here.

Anyway, I has having a hard time pinning down the sound when I was first trying. At times I felt like I was hearing a little more sabre steeliness on acoustic instruments but the overall sound is not glare-y. At times I was feeling like some of the mids were a bit recessed, possibly from a filter designed to cut down on glare. However, what I did find that once I stopped trying to think about technicalities and whatnot (which is admittedly not my strong suit) I started enjoying the player and its musical presentation through Noble X. I think most will be happy with spending a hundred bucks on this as well. It's no WM1-killer of course but it's really convenient and enjoyable for me. The wheel is a bit hard to turn quickly with one hand because it's not too prominent to keep from being accidentally turned, which is a problem I've sometimes had with the M1. Touchscreen is perfectly acceptable and album art looks way better than M1 which ended up being a bit washed-out looking compared to the promo photos, not the case here. Let me know if you have questions. Sorry I’m not better at reviews but if you're hesitant then I would wait and see what @zerodeefex has to say as he sounds like he will get one as soon as they're available in the states.

I haven't ordered one. Bugged @netforce but I don't know how to order online from any US vendors.

The curse of not having an online ordering site in 2018.

Shoot us a call at 310-534-9900 or email me at [email protected] and I can make the order through our system.

I updated to the new firmware. Added a quick scroll feature down the right side (thank you!) which is nice. I swear it sounds more spacious now but probably just my head and the fact that it's been a few days since I listened to it through HD6XX.

After several weeks using the M0 I feel confident in recommending it without reservation.

Soundstage is really excellent. Could be psychological but I want to say it got better after the firmware update.

@DigMe can you use this as bluetooth transport? Connect it to PC or TV then broadcast to bluetooth enabled headset?

No, not possible to send data in over USB and stream BT at the same time.

Oh hooray its arrived, oh cute box- HOLY SHIT ITS TINY!

The photos don't really do the size justice, I think:

Here it is next to a keyboard, next to my 42mm wristweight, on top of Auteur.

Its smartwatch-sized, just slightly thicker than a smartwatch would be. Its like, 2.5 keyboard keys tall, 2 wide and 1 thick.

It will be even better for the gym once they release the plastic case with the clip.

Make sure you have firmware 1.5 loaded if you haven't already.

Mine came with 1.5 preloaded ... I spent a little bit figuring out why it wouldn't update until I realized it was already on it.

Transfer speed is kinda low, though my pc doesn't have have usb-c port, but even on 3.0 it's pretty glacial? I would say use a usb-microsd adapter when you're moving over a big library at once.

Le edit: gets loud enough with auteur at 60 and low gain. Screen is plenty bright, here it as at 40 brightness with a 1000lumen LED right on top of it.

Colours shift a little with angle, but that's irrelevant really :D

Edit 2: BT range is short if you use LDAC-HQ mode, like next room over, so be aware the use case is definitely streaming from your phone pocket-to-pocket. Not sure about AAC for iFanboys, ain't got one. Probably slightly longer as the bitrate is significantly lower there.

Edit 3: @Bina some weirdness with accents here, the ô in "Hôtel Costes" comes out as some asian (i wanna say chinese) character.
