    Well damn Larry,that's a pretty amateur move to make a statement like that on a public website with your corporate website pinned to your sig. PM me if you want my BIL's email,he's a spin doctor who restores corporate reputations after they've shit the bed with stupid comments or actions. Not cheap tho,he always said some folks should use gluestik instead of chapstik.

    Larry's website is probably getting more hits in the last couple of days that all this year!

    Notice the stock pics. Stock pics are obvious and do not sell a company: they just say that there are probably no real people there to photograph and, if there are, they couldn't be bothered. But hey, no more of this without getting paid.

    Quite a few of us might make some throw-away comment about an accent. And quite a few of us might cringe about it afterwards. If Larry if cringing, there is hope. If not... let him have this thread, and let's leave him all alone in it.

    I read that link.

    Someone who doesn't understand something as basic* as capitalisation should not be criticising foreign accents.


    * I'm pretty sure this is something that is taught in primary school. What's the deal with all these adults on the internet who don't understand capitalisation?

    Does anyone know why someone would linker in a place where they disagree with the established opinions?
    It's like me going to my orthodox church and start ranting that baptise is actually waterboarding among other things.

    I wasn't about to comment on his website, but visually speaking it looks bad and he should feel bad. In addition, no SSL (or any other security for that matter) and I encountered an attempted unvalidated redirect to a phishing site...yikes.

    Wtf does everyone have to add and pile on their 2 cents to give themselves a sense of self superiority? I agree with @winders ...the childishness....this is like high school drama that SBAF has been waiting for because its been quiet recently. Just know you are better and hold yourself to a higher standard than giving into the need to stomp on a person that is not worth the time or effort. I guess people can't help themselves.

    I don't get @Larry Megugorac complain about English accents. There is just too many native speaker accents in the United States, let alone the world, that are hard to follow across regions for that comment to make sense. But I feel you are correct. There is no need to continue putting down @Larry Megugorac.

    As far as his comment, he seems to have felt a language barrier with customer service. When speaking with international customer service, I don't feel I had significant language barriers. I did have to deal with representatives that were not properly trained to deal with a problem, and ended up with more problems than before. But that had nothing to do with nationality or language barrier.

    A likely scenario is one of a frustrated customer with unrealistic expectations who may turn to customer service for retribution, believing himself/herself entitled to insult and denigrate a representative who is just doing his/her job. This can escalate and leave a very sour taste to both involved parties. And that may or may not have been @Larry Megugorac situation. Maybe he just didn't like the random accent, and so I guess it sucks to be him.

    Such is life. We are not perfect. Closing thread.
