You have to do it plugged in every time? That sounds like a pain (pun not intended).

IIRC the GO2Pro model had the ability to be used as a desktop DAC.

A design flaw of the GOV2+ results in the battery draining faster than it can charge, so it will inevitably run out of juice at some point.

Sorry to unearth this thread with what may be an unreasonable question given that 1) this is somewhat unrelated (about a Pulse product, not a GO) and 2) LH products don’t quite have a following here and not many people use them. But this seems to be the only technical LH thread so I thought I would give it a try.

I have the Geek Pulse X infinity and a iMac desktop setup. Few years back the Pulse had erratic communications with the computer that resolved with updating the firmware (? circa 2016-2017).

Few weeks ago I replaced my ancient 2009 iMac and updated to the latest version of Mac OS. Initially all worked well but for the last days I can not get to play music through the DAC reliably - similar with last time when it required the firmware update. The computer sees the DAC as attached but when selected it does not play music. Sometimes restarting the computer and DAC resolves the problem for few hours). I tried putting a Wyrd in line and changing the USB port and USB cable with no success.

In the rare event anybody uses a simmilar setup - did you see this happening? No need to add, there is no new firmware from LHlabs. Wondering if my Pulse was prematurely bricked with the change to a new OS. (Granted, as per the common opinion, this is not the best DAC in town, but better than the computer sound card and serviceable enough for me)

    Edit: typos

Edit2: after perusing the internet found that “app nap” in the power management preferences on Mac OS can mess up USB devices. Desactivating it seems to have fixed the connecticlvity problem. Probably a duh moment for many Mac ppl but did not know about this.

Sorry for the necro, but I have been looking online for the 3.26 driver to use with Windows 10 (2.29 apparently refuses to play DSD over DoP in W10). LH Labs site being what it is, the download page will not open, and there is no way to download said driver.
Does a kind soul happen to have it and would be willing to upload it? Thanks.

OK, I hear it on mine too - WASAPI Push style (event style distorts for me on hi-res) on FB2K. Everything fine with DAC1541 over WASAPI (Push) on FB2K .

I get different artifacts but a similar issue at the end of the track over WASAPI on JRiver with GO2A Event style but OK with Push style.

So it seems like a GO2A/WASAPI/FB2K combination.

You could either give JRiver a try, or plug in the SOX resampler ;).

I asked this question earlier here and several other places. The answer is that there’s not a way to get rid of it that I know of. The pops are present on all the ones I’ve owned.

GO2A sounds good with most headphones...in order to use balanced you must have a balanced cable on the headphone.

Then you may need an adapter to be able to use with the 3.5mm balanced out jack on the GO2A. There are several places you can get this. But needs to be balanced cable to adapter to balanced output jack.

Be careful not to use the wrong 3.5mm plug with the wrong output jack. Good to have a small rubber plug in one of the jacks to help with this.

Just make sure the connector config is the same...see this older post for the GO2A:

The key question is whether the TRRS configuration (Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) is correct for GO2A. There are different configurations out there. You need to do some searching to see if the Moon is the same as GO2A (hence the diagram I posted).
