FS: Utopia, HE1Kv2, AVVT 2a3 Quad

Quad of AVVT 2a3 Mesh NOS [SOLD to @m17xr2b]

I’m selling a quad of very low use (~15 hours), tightly matched, NOS AVVT 2a3 C37’s. I purchased these for my Studio, but ended up moving Studio fairly quickly. I’ve hung onto these, as they’re awesome and rare, but since building my 300B amp, I don’t see myself owner a 2a3 amp again. Better someone else get some enjoyment out of using them.

I’ve re-cemented the ceramic bases with Emission Labs tube base glue #1 (something I do with all of my older, NOS tubes), so it a way these are better than NOS.

Matching on these are fairly tight. I may break these up into pairs at some point, but for now, I’ll keep them as a quad. While there are fewer quad amps out these days, it can be tough to find a a tightly matched NOS quod.

Anode currents for the quad are: 50mA, 50mA, 50mA, 55mA

I purchased these early on, and probably have some ~20hrs listening to them. Headphones are in pristine shape. I modified the stock cable for balanced use (quality connector, silver solder, etc.). These are truly TOTL headphone.
