    "...maybe the HE-4XX?"

    How did you know? :)

Don't get me wrong, they're great for what they are (especially for the price), but yeah. Sounds like the Verums might just be the logical upgrade as far as bang for your buck quality planars go, thx for the feedback!

If I order the new ear pad version V1 now, do I need to pay more than $349?

Been wanting to dive into a pair of planars is there any downside to using something like a liquid platinum for these? I don't have a problem with it's gain but only use SE in and balanced out on HD6xx. I'd even buy another amp if I really liked Verum.

The LP is a hybrid, and a powerful one at that, so there shouldn't be any issue at all.

I'm waiting on balanced cables to see what the extra current and lack of summing circuitry would do for the Verum-Liquid Platinum pairing, which is already pretty good single ended, but I'll say one thing: the Verums are quite efficient, moreso than the 650s on the LP and without attentuation plus running balanced out, chances are you're gonna run into channel imbalance from the pot sitting at below 9 o'clock. (I have modi multibit into the LP, so also SE in Bal out like you, and i got some -12db harrison labs attenuators to get more usable range on the volume, they work pretty well, not completely transparent but good enough)

Another data point - I'm running Verums fully balanced on LP (fed via Gungnir Multibit A2 balanced) and channels sound even at about 7.5 to 8 o'clock. Using a db meter app, that's around 80db on these terrible modern recordings. A little bit louder than I'd like - otherwise I'm a big fan of this chain.

I was backer 113, I've received my silver carbon Verum's today after receiving notice of them shipping about 6 days ago. They look great IRL, giving the impression that they are well built. Currently running them through a Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital connected to a THX 789 AAA.

From the THX I've run them with the included cable for about a hour and a half on high gain between 9 to 12 o'clock. I've now switched to XLR, on high gain between 9 to 10 o'clock.

Quite some weight to them coming from the HE400i.

Initial impressions with Deadmau5 - Random Album Title, Slayer - Repentless and Puscifer - Money Shot have all been very positive, providing a very enjoyable listening experience.

I look forward to trying the perforated pads when they become available.

Thanks @ZenBoy - when I read such posts I understand that this project was not in vain.

Listening through a Dragonfly Black with the stock cable this morning. Massive Attack - Ritual Spirit, A Perfect Circle - Eat the Elephant and Kiasmos - Kiasmos at 50% the volume produced is plenty loud, with surprising amounts of punch where its needed.

    A truly efficient planar.

Hi @Garuspik, I purchased a Verum one from your site and just wondered how long it would approximately take for orders, the only reason I ask is because at the time I bought it, it gave a 4 week deadline howhowe recently I have seen your site now states 6 week.

    Thanks for your help

Hi guys really don't understand why people are disliking my question. I'm totally happy to wait, I'm waiting nearly 4 months for my my THX 789, all I wanted to know was an approximate timescale. It justs sets my expectations and in the mean time I may start a project which will take up my evenings. No other reason just be nice to have a vague idea. Didn't want to offend anyone, including Garuspik.

    You could PM him.

The dislikes were probably because a lot of people got a thread notification update, only to find that it's a question to the maker that's only of interest to a single person.

No offence. I'm now shipped about 350 pcs out of ~500 KS orders. After I finish with KS i'll start with orders made through website. I can't exactly predict how much this will take but now my speed is about 12-15 headphohes per day.

Point taken, but actually the current/ongoing turnaround time is of interest to all customers and prospective customers, not just one. So I'm standing out from the crowd and liking the question.

Thank you, t might not be of interest to everyone but it could be to some.

This forum thread was the reason I purchased the Verum as I saw the engagement and process which allayed my fears that it could have been a poorly executed product or even worse a scam. I'm sure there are plenty of people lurking who may benefit from knowing approximately how long the wait will be.

Please also realise that if all the threads on the site were filled with "Hey Vendor X, I bought something from you! How long before I get it?" that this would result in
    1. Fewer vendors willing to engage here.
    2. Fewer participants willing to sift through all of that noise.
The reason I disliked it was that it read like a bit of noise, especially with the story about the THX lead time in a Verum thread, the fact that you joined the same day you asked the question, and you haven't introduced yourself as is customary.

However, I can also appreciate that others would be interested to know current lead time if ordering "today".

Has anyone tried applying the fuzzor mod to their new pair of verum's. I believe the review pair garuspik sent out had felt on the magnets to lower distortion. I was wondering if anyone can give an opinion on fuzzor vs stock.

After finally receiving them I can say that Verum are the real deal. However has anyone else found that wearing them causes a big black mark to be left on your skin from the pads?

Curious what others opinions are on this Vs the LCD-2C in impact, liquidity, lushness and overall vocals performance.
