This is so incredibly hard to do as all of these pieces of gear have brought me joy time and time again. Unfortunately, recent medical bills necessitate the sale of most of my audio gear. Friends/Contributors for the time being, all prices include shipping/PayPal fees (gift appreciated) to CONUS.

    Pet free/smoke free home.

Got hit turning left. Guy in the right lane was hauling ass and hit the right front corner and almost spun us 180 degrees. My passenger had a dislocated knee and cracked rib, my foot is broken in two places and am cut up but all in all we are okay and it could have been a lot worse.

My current job doesn't provide health insurance and my coverage didn't renew this year, currently reapplying. Haven't heard anything from auto insurance, fingers crossed I don't get sued because of his actions and US motor vehicle laws.

Was coming home from a wash and wax...

Had a similar accident in 2014, turning left and somebody not paying attention ran a red light. Hit me in that same spot. Provided it is the other drivers fault, definitely get a lawyer.

Hope everything works out alright with a full recovery.

Ouch, very sorry to hear this. Prayers for a speedy recovery. Word of advice. Don't skimp on the physical therapy, even if you have to do it yourself from home. Makes all the difference for long term health and recovery.

I second this. PT helped me tremendously with a stress fracture in my back from running.

I also wanted to say that, regardless of what’s decided legally, don’t beat yourself up over the accident. My grandfather was driving my great-grandmother, made a left turn at the top of a hill, and got hit. My great-grandmother died in the accident, and he ever forgave himself. But my grandfather was the most cautious driver imaginable. Everyone makes mistakes. Just be grateful everyone’s alive.

Is that Pelikan-brand looking case included with the Eikon? Also what is the lenght of the 4 pin XLR "OFC" cable I believe you are including? I am thinking about taking this bad boy off your hands.

As someone married to a rehab/physical med doc, I second those who emphasize the importance of your PT. It's such a big part of your recovery.

Man, so glad everyone is alive. Take care, and a wish for a speedy recovery. I have to make an uncontrolled left turn into work everyday. Have come close to getting hit by speeding drivers way to many times.

Yes, it's a Seahorse case pretty much exactly like the Pelican case and is included in the purchase. The OFC cable is 5 feet I believe. The standard length Zach provides.

Thanks gyuys. I've gone through enough PT in my time (once considered becoming a PT) to know the importance.

For whatever it's worth, and by way of a subtle bump, I sympathise with those who have to take absolutely crap roads getting to where they need to. I hope all turns out well, cskippy, dumbass motor laws notwithstanding.

Fun fact: hereabouts if a pedestrian running across the road nowhere near a crosswalk gets hit by a car, the guy behind the wheel's to blame. Same with motorcycles recklessly changing lanes like they're doing slalom— something about "if you can afford a car you can afford to be generous". It's ridiculous.

Eff that, and eff that there's any risk of your getting even more trouble out of this. May convalescence be short.

@cskippy I wish you a speedy recovery. Not having health insurance really sucks in these situations. I guess that's the benefit of the universal health care system that we take for granted in places like Canada and Hong Kong. I hope it will all work out for you.

@Lyer25 when I moved to Hong Kong from Toronto many years ago, road awareness was one thing I had to get used to. Most people here do not have cars because the public transit system is amazing and taxis are cheap. It's actually more INconvenient to have a car because of the lack of places to park and the cost of parking. But back to the road awareness... When living in Toronto, pedestrians are always the kings of the road. If you wanted to cross any time, it didn't matter because cars always had to watch out for you or else their insurance would go through the roof. But here in Hong Kong, laws are in favour of the car drivers here. Tickets can be given for j-walking or crossing on red lights. And if you do that and do not get caught by the police, the cars will definitely let you know. At first I thought this is crazy but then after reflecting on it, it makes a lot of sense. Traffic flow is very important here because it ultimately affects the bus system too. So the laws make sure that the vehicles flow efficiently. And because that kind of thinking is ingrained into the road culture here, the pedestrians are more aware of the road situation when crossing and abide by the laws or respect that the cars have the right of way... (@cskippy, sorry to go on so long here)
