Repairing a small amp with tube pre

    Hi,

    First off: excuse me if this is not the appropriate location for this thread, either subforum or even forum.

    I have one of these:

    Back in the day, one channel just got quiet. Hardly any sound. And then just a little time later, as in a couple days, the other channel died. I want to fix it. Could this be easy? I've attached photos of the innards. I found one toasted looking spot, at least.

    Have you tried replacing the tubes? Just asking...

    Its hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like some of those capacitors are bulging. You might just want to try and recap the entire thing with proper capacitors. It will probably be a waste of time and potentially a waste of money, but it shouldn't cost more than 20 bucks to give it a shot.
