    @Garuspik I really like the spirals on it, but maybe instead of the L and R, keep the V for Verum? (Personally not a fan of the original aesthetics of the Verum -1, and this would change things for me)

    Also, maybe cut the little corner off at the bottom and make it a full circle? IMO having that little tail makes it look like a quotation mark

    Verum 1 need dampening unlike He-6. So I need grill to hold a felt.

    I want to get rid of L\R marks on the knobs. Maybe I'm mistaking.

    To my sensibilities, I like your new design, with L & R on the grill.

    I would take out the L/R marks on the knobs as well. I think it looks tacky and it's easy enough to tell between L and R just from the overall design.

    To my eyes, the new design looks better than V1, but IMHO, what would be a welcome addition over the V1 is the color scheme.
    An all black (anodized, not shiny grills and matte black cups) would look much more sober and serious. Champagne and brown (like the first versions of the Stax SR-007) is another winning combo.
    The shiny gold/silver and the actual cup finishes look a bit tacky to me.

    IMO, one brand that totally nailed the looks is Final with their D8000 headphone, I'm not saying that you should copy the design, but the finish and overal color scheme are very tastely done, it definitely grabs your attention in a subtle way.

    Yes, I'll propose some new colors. Not only old aquaprint patterns.

    This pattern looks really very good!
    I just would suggest to make the material a little bit thicker. If you hold the phone by the grills pressing it, it happens very easy to bend some parts of it out of shape. Bending back is nearly impossible as you cannot press it from the inner side.

    Looks great!
    The L and R is unnecessary imho, as you can clearly distinguish the sides and it may look even cleaner without the marking (or with the V instead).
    Most of the planars benefit from having open grill (think hifiman mods), so personally I´d choose the least restrictive variant while keeping it thick enough so it doesn´t bend.
    The new headband looks much better - I´ve found the original middle hinge strange tbh :D

    @Garuspik
    When can we expect the mk2 to be available?
    Really appreciate your effort.
    Cheers

    The grills look amazing! I agree with others here that L-R indicators and textures aren't necessary and could be replaced with Verum's logo instead.

    Don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but my Verum has been affected by channel imbalance from the get-go that comes and goes, understandable as it's an early bird batch. Garuspik hasn't responded to my message from months ago but I understand that he was busy which was why I haven't bugged him further until now. Now that there's news of Mk2, could I just send Verum back to @Garuspik and get it fixed along with the Mk2 upgrades? :D With any additional payment needed of course!

    Also, the new perforated pads make Verum very comfortable, much more so than with the original. Verum is now almost as comfortable to wear for long hours as HD650 for me, which is a high bar indeed. The big plus is that the pads also reduce some harshness in the highs that I've heard with the older pads as well along with some veil in the mids. The channel imbalance that comes and goes puts a stop on my enjoyment after a while, however, so I will hold off from writing a proper impression for now. Stellar work once again @Garuspik, can't wait to see what you're cooking up next!

    I prefer the old grills design but these look cleaner and with better texture.

    @Garuspik

    If you do come out with an mk2 version of V1, It would be nice if you can also sell an "upgrade package" for the original V1 customers, if the changes are simple mods that we can do.

    Hello. I will not "sell" it - i'll offer those upgrade packages for a self cost for all Verum 1 owners. New headband will cost 40-50$ including worldwide shipping (shipping will cost about 15$ by the way).
    So I guess community will believe me that headband's self cost really about 30$.
    I've previously told that I'm as a customer hate when I buy something and in a several month manufacturer release some S or MK2 version that is better. That's why I plan to propose such upgrades at self-cost

    p.s. Mk2 is not about sound improvement - it's all about comfort and aesthetics.

    Can we assume a layer of dampening will be removed? Fuzzor mod on magnets? And what kind of earpads? (Sorry, I'm Mr. Inquisitive today!)

    @Garuspik there were some problems with the 2.5mm sockets. Was it like a bad batch, or did you find out what happened? No plan to use 3.5mm socket instead?
