Looking for a nice set of IC cables. Got a set of monoprice that are just not cutting it anymore. Kimber Hero or the like. I am in the CONUS.

Just in case this helps - I like Zu Audio interconnects (as in saw a dramatic improvement over Monoprice, Emotiva and some other cables in my rig).
Zu Audio have ebay listings (their ebay name is zu_promos), and you can get their Mission xlr cables for about $45 inc shipping, if patient.
The folks at Zu Audio are really nice and if you decide that you do not like the sound of their cables they will do no hassle refunds (will give you 60 days to decide, you pay shipping).
Some of their cables to my ear improved with use (needed burn in - especially their speaker cables - perhaps due to micro-crystalline structure changes of conducting wire????).
Sorry if this sounds like a commercial for Zu Audio. I went through a lot of frustration trying cables that really did not help my system before I tried the Zu cables.

I looked at their cables, they look nice are not expensive but I doubt there is any secret sauce here, I mean it in a positive sense.
They use Amphenol connectors and balanced quad microphone cable. I have heard improvement over Monoprice just by replacing them with DIY Mogami quad and Vampire or Neutrik connectors. Most cheap XLR cables, Monoprice including, use just two wires and the shield. Using properly soldered quad cable for XLR (2+2 wires, and the shield) makes real difference, particularly in high EMI environments.
Zu Audio it looks like they know what they are doing and they use quality components . For that price you cannot go wrong.
