FS: AEON 2 Closed

This is an AEON 2 Closed from Dan Clark Audio (FKA Mr. Speakers).

It's about 3 months old and the only problem with it is the paint on the gimbals is coming off. I'm not sure why this is happening; I only used it at home and kept it on my night stand so it wasn't banged around. See pics. Includes the case, authentication card, SE stock cable, "tuning" kit.

Selling for $550.00 or best offer to SBAF friends and supporters. I'll cover pay pal fee and shipping charge to CONUS.

 

WTF. You'd have to take a steel file to the gymbals to loose paint like that. It's powder coated and tough as hell.

 

What about returning them for warranty repair?

 

If he is the OG owner, knowing Dan, he would fix them under warranty despite the fact that this appears to be abuse. I mean, there is not another pair that has this problem that I know of.

 

I am the OG owner and there was no abuse. As you can see the paint on the cups is fine - had these been knocked about those would have been damaged.
