    Utterly hilarious. Wonderful.

Written by Bimsi Tayanita, famous for such titles as Put Tony's Nuts In Your Mouth, and Suzy Likes To Look At Balls.
All I can say is, if you have children, please, support Reach Around Books :)

I would love it if the woman from the video I posted did a reading of all the Reach Around Books, lol.

I'd love to meet her too. I'm in love already :)

I'd like to meet the author and illustrator too. What a pair of ladies they must be. They have judged it to perfection.

I've seen stuff written by an elderly, spinster author that naively goes the same way. We had one where I worked. And she detested anything she wrote being edited. The one I recall was the toys on the beach: one says to the rest, "Don't go in that cave, there are queer bears in there!" I think we managed to exclude that, and a couple of other lines that meant things she had no clue about.

Sadly, her designs sold a lot: we were stuck with her. No names... even though she is probably now deceased. (google. Yep: 1990)

So I went to one of our big chain stores that has all kinds of e-innovation like the more modern stores these days. I walk up to the e-cash register terminal thing and it seemed to be glitching out so the login screen popped out. Big surprise, it was running W10 and the user name happened to be POS. I have no major complaints myself but this made me chuckle a bit.

Yes, yes, I do know what they mean, but it does make me laugh when I see systems described as POS.

I have mixed feelings about this but the thing is that they, according to this documentary and a previous one, give this bear much more love, privilegies and attention than he would ever receive while being in that Zoo. What a big lug.

I know, it is probably not the best for the bear but still cool how well most wild animals interact with humans. Most wild animals are quite social when people know how to communicate with them. There are more practical application for this like wild animal shelters in Africa etc. For me it just shows how animals aren't too different from us and should be treated with respect. The other thing is that the wilderness usually does not need human interaction at all, but showing the wilderness to people is useful I think.

Me too. Somehow I doubt that that is a healthy diet for a bear. But hey, he's reached 24 already, and is plainly happy. Let's hope nobody tries to "rescue" him.

Bears in their natural habitat act more bearish.

I saw a video where something the size of a german shepherd was annoying enough to scare a bear away and keep it distant from a yard. They are funny animals these bears.
