This is last fall from DGR2019 Mens Health - Charity Ride. I am inching to get out and shoot some sort of event or something- I hope the summer isn't ruined too.

Not a "great" shot, but dad found a bird that made a nest just outside my window and jostled me out of listening to Miles Davis of all things— I was hustled out right around golden hour and snapped this.

The weird thing is a lot of the photos I edit, I do so using Lightroom on my phone which despite me not using the obscenely vivid stock colour space and opting for DCI-P3 mode ends up with a lot of really boring-looking pics on standard RGB panels. I went entirely the other way this time around and while it's a bit crass to look at... I kinda like it, haha.

Of course I'm just using my phone so the "zoom" here is just a lot of cropping in. Shudder.



The above was an edit of a DNG but these two are deadass JPGs straight from my old phone, haha. Here are my two main money drains from around early 2017, right before I joined SBAF! I shudder to think of how much money I used to spend.

 

These were fun to take. More fun if I ever get around to running the copper tubing.

Missed opportunity - had you just said you'd found a Black Widow in excellent condition in your toolshed and would leave it outside in your yard, you could have sat back and photographed all the LA SBAFers figthing each other to find it.
