I just picked up a Panasonic commercial 42" Plasma Monitor model TH-42PWD8UK. It has bnc component in.

I think the picture might better than my cheap Samsung Plasma and want to try it out with over the air programming.

Anyone have experience with a decent OTA tuner with digital audio out (optical or coax) and component outputs.

I see lots of $29 stuff on Amazon, but not sure if those are any good or is there a go to box, new or used, that might be better.

I have 2 of these. Almost a year old, no problems so far. I have not tried recording with it, just watch TV. I searched for one that was 1080p - the product description and manual say it is, there is a setting to select it, but I don't think I've ever seen it tag a broadcast any higher than 1080i.
Has HDMI, SPDIF coax and composite video out. You can get a converter for HDMI to component for $30-ish

update: When the pc input did not work correctly it went back to it's owner. No sense futzing with older stuff if it doesn't work properly. At least he took it back and refunded.

I may have to pick that up to try the DVR function - that could be cheap solution for one of my TV's that is OTA only.
