The THX AAA 887 from Monoprice is right now at 285€ on the EU site:

    https://www.monoprice.eu/products/m...lifier-featuring-thx-aaa-887-technology-eu-uk

If you sign up to the newsletter, you get an additional 10€ discount. Shipping is free too. I think they ship from the Netherlands. Very good deal knowing the Jot2 is 500€ after import fees.

EDIT: deal is dead, price went from 285€ to 300€ for 1 week and shortly after it jumped back to 400€. Also, terribly insipid amp, only buy if you wanna get bored and feel emotionally disconnected from your music. Found out the hard way by buying and returning it.

Got excited, as I am on the hunt for a mj1, but that price is not quite what I was hoping for. Anyone know how rough these C stocks are?

The MJ1 was only between 2012 - 2015. You can't expect something that old for the outer case to be flawless. I would not think Schiit would sell it if something was compromised electronically. $589 is still a fair deal and still would have a limited warranty.

I bought a C stock Magni 3 a while ago. Worked as expected and zero cosmetic blemishes. I assume it was stock C due to being a return for scratchy volume pot which is just a matter of pulling the knob out a millimeter or so. They've since fixed this "issue" with a plastic washer.

Doesn't stack with the welcome offer, unfortunately. Still, great deal!

Best Buy seems to be closing out the WH-1000XM3 for $180 today
    https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-w...oogle-assistant-black/6280544.p?skuId=6280544

I have been thinking about adding a Bluetooth headset for late-night TV watching via the Bluetooth out on my NAD M33 when not wanting to risk waking up the kids, and just for having something reliable when traveling/teleconferencing on the go.

What did the consensus end up being on the WH-1000XM3 vs the newer WH-1000XM4? I recognize neither are really going to offer the tuning I am used to or looking for. Any better wireless full size can options these days? I don't really follow the wireless/ANC part of the market.

Not exactly the right answer to your question, @Inoculator but I went from 1000XM2 to 1000XM4 recently and am extremely pleased. I've barely used the XM4, but with 4-5 listening sessions I'm pleasantly surprised by how good they sound. I've read some people do have a preference for the XM3 but I've not heard that one myself. I think practically speaking you couldn't go wrong at that price for an unopened, new set of these noise canceling cans.

If you don't mind refurbished, Secondipity on ebay has the XM4 for $199, and the XM3 for $149. They include 2 year warranties via Allstate. I have only heard the XM3 so I can't help you decide which one to try.

I have an old pair Bose QC15s that I would like to replace with bluetooth so the Secondipity sets have been on my radar for a couple years.
