Burning Amp 2021 is ON as a Virtual Event

Burning Amp 2021 will be held this year, Saturday, Oct. 16, and Sunday, Oct. 17, as a virtual event via Zoom.

Times are Noon - 3 PM PDT (GMT-7) each day.

Saturday:
Steven Dear: Audio Perception
Demian Martin: New Tools and Techniques for Audio Measurement
Andrew Jones: Issues in Loudspeaker Design

Sunday:
Michael Rothacher: Weird Amps
Nelson Pass: Current Topics (including a new Build Camp amplifier design).

Cool! Burning Amp is fun. Even more fun in person. Still… I wonder if they have t-shirts this year?

 

Nelson's working on a new version of the F5. Perhaps he'll unveil it at BA.

 

If so, will this be called the F9, as there is already an F7?

 

Maybe? The F5 stayed "F5" after going to the Turbo version so....
We'll be illuminated when the time comes I guess.

The new amp is the ACA Mini. 4.5" square, ~7 watts. Somebody will win one via raffle - I think you're in the raffle by default if you attend.
