Folks,
Getting ready to get this tour kicked off in a few days. Added a couple of people so we're now at 12. If anyone has any issues along the way, please reach out to me.

Also, when you ship the DAC to the next person, please do me a solid and PM me the tracking, just so I can make sure we keep this train on the tracks and I'll know roughly where in the country the Walnut is. @Clemmaster You cool with handing off locally to @futbutts after your portion of the tour?

 

If it isn't too many on the list I would like to put this through my standard technical measurement suite as well as audition the DAC A/B against KTE Spring2. At the end of the list though. I have been very slow lately.

I’ll try to keep my time with it short.
I assume the warm up is rather quick with this DAC?

 

It's quick. If you'd like to calm any residual DAC nervosa, allow it to be powered on an hour. Not like Schiit Multibit at all. Sounds good as soon as you flip the switch. Allow the capacitors to reach operating temp and maybe or maybe not it sounds 2% better. Once again we're at nervosa levels. When you receive it just leave it powered on all the time and worry not.

Edit: @Clemmaster You still get your 5 days with it, you just get the bonus of not having to pay for shipping since you're doing a handoff. Take your time and hopefully enjoy, my friend.

 

Folks, @dasman66 has generously offered his own DAC up for a personal loaner tour as well, so we're splitting this into 2 simultaneous loaner tours.
Both DACs will begin their tours Monday, mine heading out to @Phantaminum and Dasman's heading out to @YMO.
