What are you listening to right now? 80s edition (but late 70s new wave is ok too) - again

Here we go again. Mods, if you rescue the original, delete or merge this one as you see fit.

Starting in the 1480s - good anthem to sing f**k you to the hackers:

Why have I never heard this song. I had Stranglers vinyl in the 80s. This cut seems appropriate for my age now though.

Can't stop listening to this album - Clapton's alternate take on all his classics. Entire album available on youtube, also Qobuz

I came across a Live Aid '85 restoration on YouTube recently, and it's got me listening again after some rough times. I've missed how it feels to lose yourself to music.

I strongly suggest you watch them, and not just listen. Something was in the air that day.

    For context: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_Aid

    Here's the channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUAVzSGkkTa-IoMx_x1XK4Q

This performance by U2 is my favourite so far, there's something special about it:

The entire Queen set is incredible. It's on the main channel but someone went and put them together and colour corrected them here:

    Elton getting it on:

I love the instrumental section 2/3 through with piano, sax, and lead guitar:

Great song, great band. I used to play pool with them at a pub called The Lord Roberts and did a gig with them once at a university. Guitar legends!

The Specials, 1981. This could also go in the car thread - we had a Vauxhall PAX like this when I was a kid, but the colour scheme was much cooler: medium blue with white fins. Unfortunately, it was about as reliable as most British cars of the era...
