Found: Border Patrol DAC SE-i

I know this isn’t popular around here but I figured it’s worth a shot.

I’m looking for a Border Patrol DAC SE-i version. Silver or black. I might consider an SE for the right price.

Impressions once you’ve had some proper time to listen?

 

Oh I just finished borrowing one for about a month from a local friend. It is great DAC if you want to listen to music and not obsess over gear. The latest revision in 2020 is all I’ve heard and I can listen to that DAC for very long listening sessions and not feel the urge to check out SBAF or read news etc. This quality of maintaining my attention is something I haven’t previously found in digital. I’ve only experienced this when spinning vinyl on a good setup.
