    So the JAR600OG is currently missing a small piece on the outside of the center of the driver. If anyone earlier on the loaner tour has this lying around, please let me know. Otherwise, we're going to continue the tour having taken this piece off of the side that still has it, to make everything sound the same on both sides. There will be a small difference in how it sounded earlier on the tour and how it sounds from here forward, but no biggie. It is still the same general headphone.

    But yeah, if anyone earlier on the tour spots something like this lying around their house just hit me up and I'll pay shipping to get it to me. Way cheaper than having Jupiter get it printed then shipped from Korea.

    Haven't tried them both ways yet but I'm guessing I'll still like them with no covers. The difference can't be too big and my system is dialed in enough to my preferences that I'll be surprised if I am bothered by it. Super kind of you to offer though, and thank you!

    On another note, your JAR600 V1 are the only JAR600 V1 that I have ever seen without the foam between the driver and the listener. I'm not sure if this was intentional on your part. If there was one thing I'd try with your JAR600 V1, it would be to find the stock foam and give it a listen. Your JAR600 V1 is from the same area of HD600 as my JAR. Both JAR sound almost identical, but mine sounds better in some areas that I was not expecting. I suspect this was due to the missing foam on your JAR. The top end is more balanced and the headphone sounds cleaner overall.

    I listen to most Sennheisers without the foam, as I feel it takes the listener further from the music. This means I have to be more selective with which units I own, as many of them can sound screechy or etched, but when I find the right ones I'm happier without the foam. I'm weird, I know, but that's just me.
