    That's a bit too much!
    I have seen them go for 400-800 depending on condition, which is what I was eyeing. Maybe a bit more for a truly NOS one, but that's about it for me.

    If still searching for them, I will soon start selling one on head-fi. Mine is in good condition, with even additional replacements parts - 2 extra cup joints, extra headband and additional driver. So I guess I will set it over $1000, at least for the start.
    They are also at ebay right now with broken headband, 200 bid and 4 days to go. I guess they will go in 400-800 range you are seeking for.
