Tube hybrid amp. It's got VU meters, so it's totally worth the price!

Saw it at RMAF.

Sort of interesting design, but $6k?

 

It'd be even better if they add "LE" or "ANV" behind the model's name , instant unobtainium!

 

Is it just me or does the curly serif italicized font on the black part of the amp look out of place (Input, Headphones, Min, Max, Vu Range, and Headphone Amplifier)? The rest of the font is all caps, non-italicized, sans-serif like a modern piece of equipment. It's like they tried to combine their modern look with the look of those vintage tube amps. It almost looks like the bottom black part of the amp is a sticker that someone just slapped onto the amp.

 

Is this for real? Does anybody actually want multiple sockets for different impedance?

Yes, it looks like the designer's line manager added that post-hoc, it's horrible. May as well use Comic Sans.

 

Does this amplifier come with marble headphones?
