This is what we want, a high-clarity DD iem that isn't crazy bassy (or ear-piercing up top) with good extension on both ends and no dips in the middle. If it were easy, everyone would have done it.
@L'Orfeo good timbre is the ability to reproduce all the subtle nuances that go into the realistic reproduction of instruments and voices. FR can affect timbre, but by no means defines it.
Mod is dead easy: just poke front-vent with thin needle and put criss-cross micropore tape on the nozzle.
Edit: forgot to mention, I also did the tape + pinhole thing on the back-vent :) Anyway, stll easier and less risky than the Fostex and Blitzwolf mods...
They're a tad less efficient than the Fostex, but I can still drive them to ear-splitting volume with anything but quiet classical recordings out of my phone.
