It seemed like all levels were cranked to 11 so that the dynamic range went from loud to clipping. Clipping at the Lyric! Only Judas seemed to be skilled enough to somehow compensate, as even though he hits hard, it never sounded like a blow out. He was phenomenal.
This show must be super hard to produce with a rock band, an orchestra, chorus, and a bunch of songs with serious dynamic range because I haven't heard a live version yet that was anything near as listenable as the movie and studio version.
