Believe it or not, I was a guest on his show in about 1970. What I liked about him was that he was sincere. A rare commodity these days.

Mr Rogers? Father of a schoolfriend/neighbour of min back in about 1965? I'd be surprised if he's still alive. I don't think he ever made documentaries.

@Josh83 I was abt 9 years old and lived in Pittsburgh, and had organized a backyard carnival to benefit MD. They somehow found out and voila, i'm a star. Lol.

I was quite moved by his death.
