Again it's on the fritz? My Macbook Air circa 2013 is still going all out beast mode with a solid 6 hours of battery life, and decent day to day performance.
i7-4790k 16gb with a Asus Maximus VII hero mobo. It hasn't cut out since yesterday morning but I've unplugged the PSU when it was idle. We'll see how it goes until I get things replaced.
I'm running a 4770K with a less expensive Gigabyte board and zero issues. I'd be surprised if it's CPU/MoBo, but I guess you'd know better. What's your PSU?
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2. Well regarded Super Flower OEM make. However, I've noticed issues with the some (not ALL) of the mobo led lights going out when it shuts down, then coming back on again after unplugging/replugging.
The LEDs on the MB working after pulling power sounds kind of weird. Could be the supply on its way out or the MB. With that said I have had Asus MBs fail after 4+ years. I wouldnt expect that from the ROG line though.
