Spent an hour and a half with him this afternoon in the otherwise-sunday-deserted surgery. My home-cooked tuna was spurned. He wasn't interest in anything except a little affection.
Worst thing is, yesterday he was looking a little better. today the light had gone from his eyes.
Maybe he can drink something? Thinking outside of the box here... salmon oil? cod liver oil with extra vitamins mixed in? Just to get him some calories and vitamins basically. Good luck.
Survived 1.5-hour operation in which lots of dead and infected tissue was removed. Whilst infection has not reached internal organs, vet is concerned for state of liver as there are signs of jaundice. Still asleep. Will see him in a couple of hours.
Saw him later on in the day. Still groggy, so hard to tell. Vet is certainly still worried. But he's been internally cleaned and externally stitched up. He's still in need of the e-love: keep it coming! :)
Now I'm worried about the third kitten. She doesn't seem to be standing/walking quite right.
The other Kitten (Priya)... vet said get an xray. But had to go a different clinic die to his decorating. Different vet sad, not much wrong with her, x-ray fine, take her home.
Due to all that, missed seeing post-op Venki today. The news bulletin is that he's still alive. Will see him tomorrow.
Sending out good kittie vibes from the Ringingears household. Cats are tough human beings. Our 19 year old is hanging tough, even though she’s skinny as a rail.
