Holy shit are the reddit people more talk and show than anything. The posts where people mention their normal experience with Schiit and how the stuff sounds are completely drowned out by flame posts based on second-hand "experience". I don't approve of Schiit's head-fi sponsorship relationship either (we're sponsored but we criticize their stuff just as much as other people) but what is up with this shit-slinging?

It's what they do..any mention of Schiit and the Amir Army comes out in force to execute his smear campaign. One guy actually said it would probably measure badly, Schitt actually posted measurements on the production page...it doesn't.

Yeah, I'm sure it's ASR people in full force. Amir has already been thoroughly discredited though so whatever

I wouldn't be surprised though if they claim that Schiit finally fixed their DACs because ASR revealed how bad they truly measured.

This is why I took a hiatus from the hobby a few years back; going full asshat over gear makes me want to smack someone upside the head.

Well I will say this Schiit posted measurements for the first time and in the press release mentioned that this was "the first product developed using new investments in Audio Precision and Avermetrics" so there is something to that. They, The ASR people, are already saying thats because of them...

@loki993 - Oh they can correctly claim that it's because of ASR. But probably because it generated a lot of stupid bullshit inquiries that it affected their customer service. Now just point to a link and STFU.
