@Merrick Wm1z as it compliments the brightish Ksc75 very well. Just local files as that's mainly how I buy/get music and listen to new stuff or my collection. I've mostly gone full Koss so I'll take any DAP without Android and off the shelf DS DAC over a amp/dac stack.

@ColdsnapBry Ah, gotcha. For some reason I thought you meant you were using a DAP as a source for your two channel system.

@Merrick Nope! Two channel systems have been something that's eluded me for awhile, I've tried to build them before and ultimately never used them.

The only class AB small amp I can think of was the burson bang and that thing was $500-$600 depending on the opamps. All of the more affordable stuff was chip-based topping/smsl

emotive basx a2m also exists, Pretty cool unit, although it's known to have a lean, class-d parallel sound, and it's not tiny. In terms in true desktop-sized units for this pricepoint, schiit's definitely in a class of their own. Super happy that finally a competitor exists. I'm tired of telling people their only option is a crappy class d from an even crappier company.

Emotive would've worked better if the internals were rotated 90 degrees. In it's current shape it's way too long to fit on a desk
