You know, we have an extra Stanford SR1 that I would like to give away to a good home. Maybe I should put it up for grabs here. Not teasing, just unsure how to make sure it goes to the person who needs it most. Open for input.
Yes I'm not planning to put down $3k. And yes Bob, they obviously are not going to cannibalize their top of the line product. However, the M1 has a lot of options. Obviously they are going to milk the options, but I like.
One very desirable feature of the M1 is silent operation. no fan. dScope III has a fan, though moderately quiet, fatigues me after an 8 ~ 10 hr measurement session.
Maybe I give it to Marv and he can pass it along to the right person. Someone can certainly use it. The software is a bit painful, but it’s very capable.
Thanks for putting the SR1 offer down Jason. I will certainly not say no if you guys decide to send it my way. I would consider it SBAFs though and would pass it along as requested.
A fully configured M1 can perform all the measurements you see me post, with a little work. It is quite a development from prism sound. - Maybe you should take Jason up on the offer. More useful measurements would be welcome.
