foo_convolve not working with multiple sample rates was a pain, and I couldnt use it for the rest of the system audio, ended up using a VST pluging PEQ and a virtual cable to connect to it for system audio as well
I just made it even nicer, no Virtual Cable required, all i had to do was actually read Oratory's post. Equalizer APO is much better than the virtual cable thing, and no latency.
I use custom buttons for different DSP Chain Presets in FB2k - makes it easy to switch between EQ for different transducers. Right-click the toolbar and "Customize Buttons" is at the bottom.
The main thing for me was switching to a VST plugin for EQ. Though I also just found Electri-Q which is free and not limited in bands. Till now I was using the trial version of Fabfilter's Pro Q2, which I was contemplating purchasing the student version of
Not sure if I'm being redundant, but you can save a set of VST plugin presets into a FB2K "DSP Chain Preset". EG: I have a bunch of hi-res stuff that really pushes my CPU
if I then have Equilibrium (VST) process it at high fidelity, so I have a chain which is Resampler-V to downsample-->Equilibrium-->Essence. I have this same chain with different EQ and Essence settings for Monitors, HD650 and M500 which are each saved as DSP Chain Presets and mapped to custom buttons.
One click to go from Monitors to Headphone presets. I toggle downsampling depending on whether I'm actually working on the device at the same time which will cause stuttering.
