Make a script to do most of that, and include your .rc and .login files, then make a `dotfiles` repo on github to house them (no secrets, of course).

Next time you need to do it, it's installing git, pulling, and running script(s).

that was my plan exactly, the problem is i have to get it all set up the first time before i can script it all :P

Not sure if I'm being redundant, but you can save a set of VST plugin presets into a FB2K "DSP Chain Preset". EG: I have a bunch of hi-res stuff that really pushes my CPU

if I then have Equilibrium (VST) process it at high fidelity, so I have a chain which is Resampler-V to downsample-->Equilibrium-->Essence. I have this same chain with different EQ and Essence settings for Monitors, HD650 and M500 which are each saved as DSP Chain Presets and mapped to custom buttons.

One click to go from Monitors to Headphone presets. I toggle downsampling depending on whether I'm actually working on the device at the same time which will cause stuttering.

Be careful about trying to get perfect response with EQ. Headphones and speakers can be a little position dependent. Over fixing to perfection for one position may have a negative impact if slightly off position.

Also be careful about the target response.

i do love me some Verilog <3 My research has got me writing all this SystemC for testbenches, which are important too, but man, i just want to get back to the Verilog

A lot of folks use direct C++ more over SystemC. Cuz it's kind of free. Particularly for system model test vectors (given to the ASIC dudes). For HDL sanity test benches, many folks stay in the Verilog realm. SystemC is a good skill though.

C++ is more of a pain than SystemC though given some of the data type stuff is taken care off.
