Possibly too busy distracted by all those huge piles of cash lying around.

Like Cook they have no vision. In the initial years after Jobs’ death I expected Apple would coast on his, and that the first test would be how they diverge. They blundered right into a solution in need of a problem with the Apple Watch, their new CEOs baby. For which sales numbers are never mentioned.

They can’t replace Jobs. Anyone that could one day do so is in a garage somewhere creating the next big thing of their own, or is already doing it. Like Musk.

Musk is a dope. Jobs was sadistic but he had actual vision. Musk gets high and complains when people don’t want to work.

Apple should had died back in the 90s. The only Apple customer I had was the Perfoma from 1995. Horrible memories.

@JK47 careful what you wish for, Windows 11 could be appstore only. Anyone with W10 S already has to pay to unlock Win32 usage.

I would almost dare to say all even # Windows releases suck and most odd ones are decent. XP, 7, 8.1 were OK. Vista, 8, and 10 sucked ass royally.

Maybe megalomaniac Jobs hired exactly who he wanted: a stunted mechanic like Cook that would never actually supersede his own accomplishments, thus protecting Jobs' place in BS tech lore. Dude seemed self-obsessed enough that he'd make sure his children were buried with him. Well, not his actual children, because he didn't seem to care about them nearly as much.
