yes they do! Even the hi end Chinese TJ Full Music started to decline in SQ in less than a year where my old skool US tubes still sound great with years of use.

Like honestly I was never a NOS nazi...but f**k. I've used both the CV181-Z and EH 6SN7 gold pins...neither one of them is this good and these GTBs weren't even expensive. System feels much more visceral, airy and alive with the Sylvanias. I'm just dumbfounded right now.

You may also like the old tung-Sols, yes the Sylvanias are really nice as are both cos military JAN and VT-231s

Have you ever tried a Psvane 6SN7? Just curious.

Psvane and TJ are the higher end iterations from Shuguang. Could be the amount of gold bling may be all that differentiates. I would rather find a strong NOS than mess with these. You could get 2-4 of NOS for the price of one of these.

David I got some Sylvania GTB Chrome Domes and RCA VT-231 Grey Glass. Was tempted to get Ken-Rad VT-231 but honestly the RCAs bring enough bass for me. I thought my system was bass light but I think it was the Chinese tubes...
