@Griffon did the full pimped out TU-8600 with 300B tubes. I've done the TU-8200DX. Excellent straight forward instructions, and support if ordered from vkmusic in Canada. Maybe slightly cheaper from overseas, but Victor from vkmusic is solid and very quick to answer questions. Nice amps too...

I've built both the TU-8600 and the TU-8200DX. Through hole PCB soldering is very friendly to first timers.

@JK47, did your 8200DX fair well with your uber BLHs?

Looking into the 8600 Lund version, but 300B cost is really giving me pause. That and I know dick all about very good vs. unobtanium/billionaire 300Bs

@msommers if you just want to start with 300B I can sell you my EH300Bs at a cheap ass price. You can search for your own dose of 300B later.

Definitely will keep that in mind!

@captkirk The 8200DX does just fine with my BLH's.
