Of course not. Just suspecting my 800 (sn>48900) sounds different from others. Measurements couldn't confirm 5-6k fr and decay weirdness, either.

Can't say much. Remember I hated 800 many years ago. 800S 2.5 years ago was a bit piercing. Now I have a lot better amps and sources than before. Too many variables.

Mine, sn=489xx, seems to be originally purchased in 2018 (I'm the 2nd owner). Dunno about when they were manufactured.. maybe 2017 at the earliest?
