It's the best I have tried so far. I am not an aggressive FPS competition player, but in the games with atmosphere these do a good job to enlarge soundstage without sound strange.
The VSS from creative is more precise still. Mobuis does well as AIO. The Bluetooth also sounds very good. Pricing is where the value proposition falters. It's well built, but not premium feeling.
Still searching for a good VSS solution for my PS4 (games) and TV (movies). Ideally something I can connect to my Saga and then to my (1) speakers or (2) headphone.
Imo, the current best VSS for PS4 is: PS4 (AC3) -> BlasterX G6 (optical out)-> your DAC. Since I also use it on the PC I dug out my WYRD to have power for the G6 all the time.
What is AC3, mate? And how's the positional audio with the G6? Can I connect it to my amp instead of my dac? I don't need good dac for my movies and gaming.
Dolby Digital 5.1. You need to set your PS4 to optical out and Bitstream (Dolby). Yes, you can also connect it to your amp since the G6 transfers the final mix over line out as well.
I find the positional audio of SBX pretty good, the rear channels could use some slight work (they are better on the Mobius) but afaik its on the works. Make sure to update firmware to the latest version.
