I grew up with little money and had to work for my pennies. The stress that comes with dealing with setbacks makes financial planning such a burden. That is life though...
@elguapo, years ago I tried both Mint and Personal Capital and vastly preferred the latter. Mint felt more budget-focused, and I was tired of seeing red flags and getting emails for going $5 over my allocated grocery budget for the week. Personal Capital is more focused on net worth and tracking investment portfolios, which jives better with my current goals.
